Saiyaara Cast: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda Lead Mohit Suri’s Record-Breaking Romance

Saiyaara, the 2025 Hindi-language musical romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, stars debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead roles. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film was released theatrically on 18 July 2025 and became the highest-grossing Indian romantic film of all time.

The film is loosely based on the 2004 South Korean film A Moment to Remember. It was originally planned as a spiritual sequel to Suri’s Aashiqui 2, but creative differences led to the project being reworked into a standalone film under Yash Raj Films.

Upcoming Reunion

In April 2026, it was announced that Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda would reunite with director Mohit Suri for another intense YRF love story. The untitled film will be produced by Akshaye Widhani and is set to go on floors later in 2026, with a worldwide theatrical release planned for 2027.

Suri said in a statement: ‘It has always been love stories for me. Overwhelming, unbound, and impossible to ignore. Love is meant to be felt intensely, and that is why I naturally gravitate towards it as a storyteller. This film explores that unabashedly. So, coming back with the same team from Saiyaara feels incredibly special.’

Widhani added: ‘With Mohit, it is never just about making a film – it is about chasing a feeling, a piece of music, a moment that lingers long after the screen fades to black. Saiyaara was one such moment that we will cherish forever. We are thrilled to have Ahaan and Aneet in our film, as the most-loved Gen Z pair reunites for a Mohit Suri romance.’
