Saiyaara Begins Streaming on Netflix After Record-Breaking Theatrical Run

Saiyaara, the romantic musical drama starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is now available for streaming on Netflix. The film premiered on the platform on September 12, 2025, following a successful theatrical release on July 18, 2025.

Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is available in Hindi with English subtitles across more than 190 countries. It can also be downloaded for offline viewing.

Box Office Success

The film grossed approximately ₹329 crore net in India and ₹570 crore worldwide during its theatrical run. It became the highest-grossing Indian romantic film of all time, surpassing Kabir Singh.

Produced on a budget of ₹45 crore, the film achieved a return on investment of over 640%. It was the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025.

Story and Cast

Saiyaara tells the story of Krish Kapoor, a troubled musician, and Vaani Batra, a reserved poet, whose relationship is tested when Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

The film is loosely based on the 2004 South Korean film A Moment to Remember. It stars debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, along with Rajesh Kumar, Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Varun Badola, and Shaad Randhawa.

Music and Reception

The soundtrack, composed by Mithoon, Tanishk Bagchi, and others, became a global hit. The title track entered the Billboard Global 200 chart at number 10, a first for a Hindi song.

Critics gave the film generally positive reviews, praising the lead performances and Suri’s direction. The film holds a 63% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 19 reviews.
